GATHERING
"Yes! It is Fashion!" the Holiday Market fashion show is back for a third year at the Lane County Fairgrounds. Watch as ordinary Eugene mortals are transformed by the fashion police into gods and goddesses of crazy holiday chic. You can also support local artists and culinary experts while doing your holiday shopping. And where else can you witness the captivating image of a chocolate brassiere? (Worn by Mary Newell.) See Sunday Calendar.

MUSIC
Hawaiian slack-key guitar enthusiasts gather 'round. Cyril Pahinui, son of the legendary Gabby Pahinui, displays decades of musical expertise. In the '60s he was with Sunday Manoa; the '70s it was The Gabby Band; in the '80s and '90s Pahinui toured with the Peter Moon Band and the Pahinui Brothers. Since joining Dancing Cat Records' Hawaiian Slack Key Guitar Masters series, Pahinui has increasingly turned his attention to performing solo, which he'll do at the WOW Hall. See Tuesday Calendar.

MUSIC
The jam-band Blues Traveler, based in New York and formed in 1988, features harmonica-driven rock. John Popper explodes with fluid instrumental accompaniment and high-quality vocals, bringing high-energy Blues to the McDonald Theatre. See Monday Calendar.
