celebration
The 6th Annual Health and Well-Being Celebration's "Community Village" provides an opportunity to come together to enhance wellness in a spirit of fun. The Broadway Mall between Charnelton and Lincoln Streets will be lined with booths with holistic health products and services, psychic readers, personal growth opportunities and many natural food sponsors. "Soul Motion" by dancer Vin Marti is among the many exhibits, workshops and attractions. See Saturday, Sunday and Tuesday Calendar.

festival
The 12th Annual Secret House Wine and Blues Festival in Veneta features national blues acts and entertainment for the whole family as a benefit for the Relief Nursery. Visitors will also find arts, crafts, a kids' play zone, hayrides, and gourmet food booths. Musical highlights include the sounds of Linda Hornbuckle, Lloyd Jones, the Paul deLay Band, the Bill Willie Bluz Band and others. See Friday Calendar.

music
By the time Morrissey disbanded the group The Smiths in 1987, his witty and literate lyrics had already won him the allegiance of millions of disaffected teenagers and young adults. Since the break-up of that short-lived but highly influential band, Morrissey's solo albums have each gone gold or better. His new release, Southpaw Grammar, displays the maturity, ease and confidence of an artist with nothing left to prove. Coming to the McDonald Theatre. See Friday Calendar.
