James Randi's lecture, "Pseudo-Technology in the New Millennium" starts off the DaVinci Days 2002 celebration. Randi, scientist, professional magician and renowned investigator of psychic, paranormal and pseudo-scientific claims, holds numerous accolades including a "genius" grant from the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation. DaVinci Days features art and technology exhibits, speakers, music, children's activities, a film and video festival as well as the Kinetic Sculpture Race.
