Oregon Country Fair 2002 "Year of the Palindrome" is bound to be an astounding event. You can trudge forest trails for three days around clowns and minstrels and magical jugglers; stuff your face with luscious treats; feast your eyes on stupendous feats; bathe your bod in sunrays galore; listen to the beats of drums; partake in a parade and more. Including multiple stages of non-stop counterculture entertainment almost all weekend long, this summer's fair will be hot, hot, hot. Headliners include Ram Dass, Paul Krassner, the Trichromes, Misty River and many others. See Friday Calendar.

After a nearly two-decade music career, The Indigo Girls have produced Become You, an album that many call their finest work yet. You might hear new tracks from that album at Secret House Vineyards, as the Girls play a gig under sunshine and grapes, thrown by one of the Northwest's premier vineyards. See Friday Calendar.
